Our Common Path

The paths seem long,
Like a journey of a sage,
Quiet and soft on a quest we seem…
And as tenderly my thoughts drift to your presence,
I wonder the distance…walk along the path…

Beloved the journey,
It sure is long,
The miseries and anguish, we surely do tread,
The pain and hardship, you do beget…
The joys and smiles, you always do spread,
as you walk the path, like I do on mine,
And then comes the way,
A path so common, we walk along,
Hand in hand, with merry gestures, your careen motions;
Motions that ere emotions of distance null;
But just not that of walking along…

Tender and soft, my dear you are,
Thing that hurt me, hurts you more,
So step on my feet, in joy you will walk,
The thorns meant to you,
Undoubtedly I’ll tread in joy!

kool, two different mortal beings ,having varying prespective walk on the same path, but are both of theirs destinaton same???????????. i m a bit cryptic at this point though......

Their destination is indeed the same...else they wouldn't be walking the same path...yet, I don't know how long they will walk along because of the numerous stops one stops by...and sometimes...one just STOPS while the other walks along...and why are you cryptic at this point though?
